The Salmagundi Club , 112 Fifth Ave. New York City. This is a picture of the facade. Click here for a virtual tour of the building.   It is a marvelous old brownstone mansion with original gas lights still burning at the foot of the stairway to the entrance.

The Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester, VT is another magnificent mansion used as an art gallery.   Yester House has 10 galleries in spacious well lighted rooms. Recently a new building, The Elizabeth de C. Wilson Gallery, was added to house the permanent collection.

Hudson Valley Artisans Guild, an organization of crafters and fine artists which meets monthly in Poughkeepsie, NY.

North East Watercolor Society has the winners of the 2007 International Exhibition on the Web Site.

Ridgefield Guild of Artists has their gallery in an old barn on Halpin Lane in Ridgefield, CT.   They have art classes, programs for children, monthly exhibits and a gift bazaar at Christmas.

Kent Art Association is a gallery devoted to realistic art work.

Garrison Art Center, Garrison, NY, has two Artists on Location a year when the paintings done that day are auctioned that evening.
   These events are lots of fun and patrons can acquire paintings at very reasonable prices.
The next one will be May 17, 2008. Their August Arts and Crafts Show is a popular event.

Ringwood Manor Arts Association has a wonderful gallery in the former carriage house barn at Ringwood Manor, New Jersey.

Catskill Art Society is now located in Liberty, NY.
